WE ARE NO MORE CONTROLLED BY THE COURSE OF THIS WORLD!
Today's message is specially inspired by the Spirit because the Lord is intent on ensuring we take full advantage of the Grace of Christ present in our lives. The immediate disposition of those who have not matured in the things of the kingdom is to attribute success or failure to God. Que Será, Será is a popular song written by the songwriting team of Jay Livingston and Ray Evans. Que Será, Será means "whatever will be, will be". This song and other unfounded statements in the world has crept into the Church, almost crippling the faith of the brethren. But thanks be unto God, things are changing now.
Psa 124:1-2 says "If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Israel say; If it had not been the Lord who was on our side,
when men rose up against us" Such a comforting scripture, right? Wrong! It seems to suggest that our salvation is based on God doing something for us in the present. But that isn't the entire truth.
Everything the Lord ever needed to do in order to ensure our safety and success in this life has long been completed. When you study the Word, you should discover that the Lord is sitted on His throne. Sitting is a form of resting. Those who sit are not carrying out any work. Meaning, God is resting.
If the circumstances of your life are to change, guess what, you MUST do something according to the revelation of Christ; you must do something consistent with the finished work of Jesus. Hence the admonition to "fight the good fight of faith". Notice it is called "a good fight", it is so called because you, before the fight started, has been determined by God to come forth victorious! Hallelujah! However, you've got to FIGHT before you win. More on this later.
