Tangibility of Grace to Humanity.
When God offered Abraham the ram, He set the stage for His intervention in the salvation of Man. Man needed to be saved from Sin and his sins - there is a difference. While Sin relates to the nature of Man, sins relate to the acts of a sin fettered race. Righteousness doesn't have its origin from sinfulness.
Therefore, the Lord's plan went beyond the offering of His Son as our substitute on the Cross, to pay the penalty for our sins. More importantly, God's beloved Son also gave us His very own essence, life that we may live beyond the leadership of the body of sin which is only possible by the Holy Spirit given. Yes, it is possible to live beyond the reach of sin. The life of Christ made that possible. The substitution with Christ made it possible to subdue the essence of our previous, human, biological life, which we inherited from our natural parents. This previous life is bound to sin, but the one we received from Him, from above, is beyond the reach of sin. Our scripture reference from Rom 5:10 "...we shall be saved by his life." Signifying that His life surging through our being has saved us from sin with its effects. Freedom from sin has become a reality! You don't have to serve sin anymore.
This life beyond the grip of sin is available to every saint, but not every saint enjoys this liberty from the Spirit on a daily basis. He has said from 1Jo 5:11-12 "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life" We have received this Son of God, therefore we should boldly daily declare that we have this life and walk in the consciousness of this truth. Amen!
