For those of you that have been following my posts on this subject, from now on this will be the title of my posts regarding daily life as the Resident Manager of the Christian Transitional housing program I work at. I am not going to keep doing the Volume whatever in the title, I figure at this point you either care, and are following, you start to care and go back to read, or you don't care and won't ever.
So we had our staff meeting like we do on Monday three times a month, one time a month it is a board meeting and I am not on the board. I could go in but I don't, I get enough of stuff honestly. Anyway we came to an agreement about the guy with an attitude, we are writing him up but giving him some requirements as to how we expect him to behave. Hopefully he will comply and get on board realizing that we are trying to help him be a better man. I mean responding with aggression whenever someone does something you do not like just is not appropriate for the lives we say we want to live. And if that is not how a resident is trying to live then this is not the program for him. We teach Christ centered recovery here.
So I am going to take a nap for an hour before I have to finish point sheets for tonight's house meeting, I am literally functioning on 20 minutes of sleep right now. I will post later about how things go.
As always, if you want to read about the life of a hard core drug addict that found redemption in Christ, please follow me and support. Thank you and God bless.
Very interesting!
