Missionary journey to the MACO ethnic group, Amazonas Venezuela, 2012

We left by car from Valencia to Puerto Ayacucho, 13 hours on the road. and we cross the river on a barge

In Puerto Ayacucho we slept in the house of our friend Pedro Yosuino, the pastor of the Baptist church of Puerto Ayacucho, Amazonas

the next day, at sunrise, we take off on a Cessna 206 from the airport of Puerto Ayacucho to the MACO community, 140 miles into the Venezuelan jungle

If we did not have the plane available, we would have had to sail for 3 days in a bongo by the rivers

Upon reaching the Maco community, Brother Camico welcomed us, he is the one who carries the gospel work in the area.!

After requesting authorization to the cacique, we had permission and immediately we began the electrical and mechanical installation work of the pumping equipment and electric generator

the afternoon arrived and they asked us to stop the work because at that time no noise could be made.

That night we did a prayer vigil with Camico, some Indian brothers and some volunteer doctors who were in the area

Camico led the prayer and reading the Word of God in his native language.

They accommodated us in a house and we slept in our hammocks.

the next day after praying and having breakfast, we went back to the installation
