"Obey Him, One More Time..." - Daily Word #19

Today I'd like to continue from yesterday's "The Morning After..." post.

In John 21, it tells the account of Jesus appearing to His Disciples yet again...

Peter began the story by saying “I’m going fishing.” And the rest of them also said...“We’ll come, too,”. And so they all went out in the boat, to go fishing. But again they spent all night catching NOTHING at all!!

Then at dawn Jesus was standing on the beach, but the disciples couldn’t see who he was. So He called out, “Fellows, have you caught any fish?” “No,” they replied.

Then the familiar saying of Jesus again... and he said,

“Throw out your net on the right-hand side of the boat, and you’ll get some!”

Once again, they caught SO MUCH fish that they could not even pull in the net! I'll stop here for you to imagine this situation again.

All Night on the boat with experienced fishermen and they caught ZERO Fish. One moment with Jesus, they caught an immeasurable amount that they cannot haul the nets in.

In your life today, do you need a WORD from the Lord? Or perhaps you may need a TOUCH from the Lord.

Whatever the case, if you have been going at it with ALL of your own might, strength and wisdom and if it has not gone your way, perhaps TODAY is the day where you OBEY HIM as you set your gaze upon Jesus who will give you... your BREAKTHROUGH!

Are you willing to let down your nets, ONE MORE TIME and listen to your Master's Voice?
