When I think of Psalms, it reminds me of David’s worship and praise. Worship (putting worth on something) is a natural response to an understanding of the source of all things. The source (God) is more important than the resources (things). Worship doesn’t begin, when we start singing and dancing. It’s when we acknowledge the source, we begin to worship God. The largest book in the Bible that’s written is a praise book (Psalm) and it’s written by a politician (David). The greatest king of the nation of Israel. David used to hang out on the hills with his sheep before he became a king. He learned early during his teen years that the mountains and the hills belong to God; the sheep, the bush, the trees, his slingshot, his tongue, so he can sing, and everything in the earth belongs to God. David understood God Almighty. Our Source! He kept on writing His gratitude and the praise of His wonders because David was awed by God. God bless you!
