Why are your life's doors still closed, despite God's promise of Revelation 3:8?

Are you going through challenges? Do you feel like giving up? Here the word of the Lord is speaking to you.

I've opened a door before you that no one can slam shut!

However before you get over yourself and speak that prophecy to your life, stop and read the lines just before the [I've opened a door before you that no one can slam shut! ], What does God say?

I see what you have done*.

There you have it. God says he has opened a door before you that no one can slam, but before that he has seen what you have done

So are you counting on the prophecy of the open door? Have you asked yourself why despite God saying speaking that to your life, still every door is seems closed? That Job is not coming. That plan is not actualizing. Overall, your doors are closed.

The secret lies in that first part [I see what you have done] before the [I've opened a door before you that no one can slam shut] and in the second part after that [ I know that you used what you had to keep my word/You didn't deny me when times were rough]

Ask yourself, what have you done that God is seeing? What do you daily do, in your dealings with fellow men, in your relationship with God, that God sees? When God sees, does it move God to open the doors?

Because yes, that determines whether or not that prophecy, despite speaking to your life, will ever really actualize.

I know that you used what you had to keep my word.

What do you currently have? Is it little? Is it much? It doesn't matter. What matters is how have you used it?
Have you used it to keep God's word? Have you used that little for the Glory of God?

You didn't deny me when times were rough

have you been to tough times? Are you in tough times? What was/is, your attitude towards God? Do you affirm his place in your life? Do you deny him?

God say, you didn't deny me when times were rough! And he says that as a qualification for prior saying [I've opened a door before you that no one can slam shut!].

Overall, your doors remain closed because

  1. What God has seen you do does not move him to open your doors
  2. You have not/are not using what you have whether little or much, to keep God's word
  3. You deny/do not affirm God, when in tough times.

Change your life, do what is good in God's eyes, use what you have [and this is not necessarily money or material possession, it includes your talents, your time, your... ] and then, in the difficult as in the the tough times, do not deny God, affirm him.

Then will God open your doors
