In 1 Corinthians 15 Paul talks about Christ's resurrection from death.
1 Corinthians 15:12 "Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. 14 And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty." Here Paul talks about Christ's resurrection from death. Christ conquered death.
Adam - the first person - brought death.
Romans 5:12 "Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned."Christ - the Second Man - brought eternal life.
Romans 5:17 "For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ."Where is your commitment? Do you hold onto this world, as Adam and searching for earthly solutions for the reality of the life (illness, poverty, hardship, hard work, problems, struggle, conflict, Temptations, sin). It's the first Adam and the path of humanity - who wants to continue without God. Or is your commitment to the second Adam, Jesus Christ? He brings forgiveness, salvation, hope, life and the eternal life.
In who is your hope? In the temporary solutions of this world (first adam) or lay it in Christ, the (second adam) who rose from the dead? When you hope lies in Christ you will not even be afraid of the enemy - death. Because then you know there is a life after death. It's so simple: The temporary life or eternal life in Jesus Christ?
Titus 1:1-2 " Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness, 2 in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began, Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness, 2 in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began."
Thank you for reading, "Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior." (Titus 1:4)
