As the day goes by weeks, months running into years, the persecution of Christians around the world keep increasing with no promising sign of slowing down. Report shows that over 215 million of Christians which is estimated to one out 12 Christians faces unbearable persecution for their faith.
Most countries enacted the Religious freedom into the law but this only function on the paper.
Following the ranking of 2019 Open Door World Watch list on the ranking of top 50 countries where Christians faces high level of persecution.
Countries like, North Korea, Afghanistan, Somalia, Libya, Pakistan, Sudan, Eritrea, Yemen, Iran, India.
An update on the state of persecuted Christians was given by David Curry, the President and CEO of Open Doors USA.
Some of the countries new on the list came as surprise but then most Central Asia countries face more intense persecution and wide spread of unruly Islam spread leading to religious nationalism.
