why must this Gospel be free??
and why should we not have our part?? (2)
looking into the salvation of men, and careful investigation of God and human sins would be a great insight on the question above...
Salvation simply mean to rescue or to save.
Human sins is a destructive or dangerous state know has death according to the book of Romans 6:23 recorded in the Bible ( for someone who is not familiar with the Bible kindly read to confirm and Same goes for those who is) that man has found himself outside the power of God. NOTE: a man who is separated from God or far from God is already in the position of destruction and sin is the cause of this.
God in this picture is the one who can only rescue man from the danger of sins which is death. and for this to happen man and God must meet!
now from all these the role of God, the man and sin is spelled.
if there would be salvation at all it won't come from sin... because sin produce destruction, also it won't come from man because man is in the position of danger and destruction by the reason of sin.
this mean that salvation will only come from God alone. so if salvation( I.e to be rescued) only comes from God then how would it be made available to the man?
Remember man can't go up to meet God and get the salvation himself, no! it's not possible, everyone know that this is not possible because God is in heaven and no man can climb up into heaven, many people on earth has tried this before infact it's an opportunity for you to have a change of mind now that you are reading this... religion&morality and some other ordinances that men do so as to get salvation from him or to be someone that will be accepted before Him without been punished for sins, doing this is like religious climbing to heaven.. every reasonable religion is bent on this fact because nobody wants to perish, however it is not reasonable enough, because how can man's way be so perfect and escape the punishment of sin.
remember I said to get this salvation from God you would have to meet God, and we have clarify it that you can't by your efforts and religion be totally perfect without fault so that you can now be save from the destruction. Therefore only one option is left..
God alone
God would have to by himself come closer to save man and not man by his own effort get closer to Him and be saved because his effort can't be perfect.
How will God do this??
just like we have seen God in his deeds and creations, the expressions of God in the Galaxies all together in the wonders of nature, not just that God has shown is power in element like fire, water and even clouds the same way animal was used for Balaam to get instruction (numbers 22:30-33) . see Romans 1:19&20 and also Psalms 8:3&4
All these creations are used for Man, now Man for man is what God intended, since all men were not escaped from sins then God made a new man without sin because this man was made of God, the Bible called it born of God see John1:14. This man is JESUS, Who has a man does not have an origin from another sinful man but was born of God, he was not even of earthy like the first man, this man is another kind of Man. So it is Him that God gave as the salvation of the World( John3:16). Today anyone who believes by putting their trust in him as their Savior will also be given a new identity in Jesus Christ, this mean anyone can be born again rich or poor, irrespective of religion, educated or not, you just believe God's love for you in christ is real and you will experience God's peace and grace.
Jesus came down from heaven I.e from the unseen realm (spirit world) where God is, as the one who will rescue man... Matt 1:21
Since man is not perfect in conduct because of the weakness of sins( Romans 5:6&8 without strength make a sinner) could not reach up to heaven. So it is impossible for this sinful world to produce a perfect man to meet with God so that mankind can be saved( note: this is why no matter the greatness of the prophet none of them can save from sins) instead a perfect man (Jesus himself said this in John3:13) came from a perfect place where God is to deliver and to save from sins by taking sin's penalty which is death upon all men, and by raising up from the sin's penalty showing us that our salvation is complete and that we are totally free.
Finally to ask what is my part in salvation? is to say what is my part in God's creation? And this all sound absurd. No man was there when all God's handiwork was created instead "he is enjoying and taking and using" this mean man does not have part in the work of creation, his part is just that he is the beneficiary. So also in this line of thought Salvation was done alone by God remember?? He was the one who gave Jesus a perfect man, conceived of a virgin birth, who died on the cross and was buried for 3 days and was raised so that we can believe the power of salvation.
Friends and to all who read this. Salvation is of God and it is already made freely available in Jesus Christ, you don't have to be in the state of destruction that sin brought upon man.
Believe this good message and wonderful news of God's salvation and then it's all yours to enjoy.
