Sons of God

What if we really were the sons of God,
Would others respect us, or think us quite odd?
Would we be treated better than we are right now?
Or would most ignore us or call us crazy?

It's a bit hazy, and yet what if we knew we had powers,
During the hours like Jesus had, and used them the ways he did?
What if we knew it was true, and acted the part too?
What if the sick were touched, and made instantly well?

What if satan would run from our words, "get lost - go back to hell!"?
What if others would want what we have and even want to be like us?
Or would they sneer, when we came near or stone or crucify us?
Would it be worth it to be more like Him, or should we forget to try it?
