How to Pray and Get Results?

Some people pray but get no results because they do not know how to pray. God wants to answer all our prayers but we need to know how to pray and receive these answers. Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” The essence of prayer is to get results and to have an answered prayers.

Prayer is communicating with God. The first thing that we should do is to identify who He is to us. If we see God as a father we need to talk to Him as a child. The level of relationship we have with God will affect because our state of mind and approach in prayers.

We should believe that God will answer us. No matter how long you pray and cry to God once you are doubting the will of  God it will not produce result. God promised us in 3 John 1:2,  "That He wishes above all things that we prosper and be health, even as our souls prosper". Therefore, once you pray you must believe that He will answer you.We should believe that God will answer us. We should meditate the issue of what God wants us to pray. Our faith in God will strengthen us and His willingness to answer us. The Word of God will be very real to us. It will drive away our doubt, and fear that's stop us from receiving our answers.

To have an answered prayer we need to get rid from hindrances like unfogiveness, bitterness,  and hatred because the devil will used them to accuse us before God encourages us to forgive others so we can receive same from God.

We should start our prayers with thanksgiving and praise. The bible tells us, that we should enter God’s presence with praise and thanksgiving. We need to appreciate God for who He is and for His goodness. We must glorify God before we ask.

Once we pray let us believe that it will come to pass. Mark 11:24 says, when you have made your requests known unto God, you must believe that God has already answered you. We should give thanks to God and expect God will answer our prayer. Giving thanks to God shows that you believe in Him. Everything you prayed have been settled and done.
