Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Deuteronomy 31:6.
This was the encouragement Moses gave to the Israelites at the time when they were not so sure of their safety. He told them to be courageous and strong because the living God was with them.
The Lord was prepared to take them out of Egypt to the promise land. From the word of God in Joshua 1:9, the Lord reiterated this, He gave the Israelites the confidence/courage to move forward.
The only thing that has the tendency to create doubt in our minds is fear. However, having faith in the Lord and in His word is the solution to the problem of fear. Hallelujah! Be a light to the world!
