I remembered the story of Dr. Ben Carson, how his mother will always correct him and even punish him whenever he fails to do his assignments or any right thing. What makes Ben a successful and renounce Neurosurgeon was the vital role his mother played in his life.
Do you want to be perfect? Then be ready to accept correction. Don't be dogma, don't be stubborn, don't be incorrectable. Perfect people are not Mr. Know It All, they are people who only knows how to be perfect in their imperfections by allowing themselves to be made perfect via correction.

Proverbs 3:11-12 AMP: My son, do not despise or shrink from the chastening of the Lord [His correction by punishment or by subjection to suffering or trial]; neither be weary of or impatient about or loathe or abhor His reproof, For whom the Lord loves He corrects, even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.
God loves you so much, so He won't leave you alone when you make mistakes, because he wants to bring out the best in you, he will always correct you. As Dr. Ben Carson's mum always discipline him to bring out the best in him, so also God always discipline you to make you the best that you can be. So don't be discouraged when you're faced with trials, punishments or suffering, it's all going to work for your good if you patiently and diligently wait in the school of discipline.
The Wisdom of Proverbs is telling you today that you should accept correction because CORRECTION WILL MAKE YOU PERFECT.
