In christianity Illumination is a charismatic gift which provides the sense of committed sin. So it insists a pilgrim to move towards path of salvation.Achieving redemption is not a piece of cake, this path is full of obstacle. Without fraction diamond is not possible and without struggle purgation is not possible. He suffers from despair, across many barrier and eventually he acquires his purification. For purification one must get rid of his or her sins. In Christianity the seven deadly sins are: envy; God in the Bible says "a sound heart is life to the body, but envy is rottenness to the bones" ( psalm 37:1), Gluttony: "therefore whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do , do all to the glory of God"(,psalm 78: 17) , Greed, Lust, Pride , Sloth, Wrath. According to Christian religion these sins fetch humans up from the love of God and pure heart. Pure heart is only given by God. In Bible it is specifically uttered that ""I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.” One who is free from all these sins is a sacred puritian follower. Hopefully, After reading Bible Christian came to aware of his sins and cries out to rescue himself from these deadly sins.

Pilgrim PROGRESS is a epoch making allegorical fiction and most widely read book in English literature.It is an exploration of dream sequences. This book is divided into two parts; the first part represents Christian's journey to Mountain Zion and the second part is about the pilgrimage of his wife Christiana, their sons and maiden Mercy. Every place and character is represented here conveys a symbolic meaning. As Immanuels Land stands for God's place, Vanity Fair and City of Destruction refers the beautiful world.Many other places like Slough of Despond, Wicket Gate, Valley of Humiliation, The Land of Beulah , The River of of Death are represented here. Christian, Christiana, Evangelist are the main character of this novel. While Christian is the pursuer heaven, Evangelist is the actual guide ruler. Evangelist are the main character of this novel. World is concerned as every creature's mother. It is replenish with natural beauty, colorful flowers , mild wind ,blue ocean and so on. But in Abrahamic religion this world is meaningless, true meaning lies only in after life. Christian’s battle begins with the knowledge of sins and punishment.
