Is God Your Refuge?

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalms 46:1 (KJV)

The children of God are the light of the world: they are required to show the world the direction they are to go, Matthew 5:14-16. However, some of God’s children are not living up to expectation; they are tossed back and forth by the world. The opening Scripture seeks to give believers in Christ Jesus knowledge for living: God is our place of protection, our might/strength, and always available when we need Him. Let this consciousness be in you so that you don’t depend on anyone for help; your dependence should be on the Holy Scriptures, because the Word of God is God. The Word of God is where we can find refuge/protection, strength, and help in times of need. Hallelujah! Dear beloved, whom have you put your confidence? Can that person help you?
