Missionary Kid, to Biblical Truther

Growing up in the Philippines allowed me to attend the largest missionary kid school in the world, Faith Academy Manila. It was quite the experience to witness so many flavors of Christianity all represented there.

Missionaries are supposed to be the Cream of the Crop when it comes to the "Church". While there was a fair amount of hypocrisy, gossip and infighting, It was an environment that revealed 40,000 + protestant denominations could share one common theme, serving the poor and orphaned. It was heartwarming, but my understanding of God and Faith lacked substance and TRUTH.

While I understood the "service" part of faith growing up, something was lacking when it came to actually understanding my identity as a christian. Once I returned to the states I encountered God in an incredibly real way, and it caused me to start to ask, what does it mean to Love him in his way? This began my journey searching the Hebrew roots of my faith, and eventually throwing in with NYSTV where I became surrounded with a community of people that are willing to shrug off man made traditions and grab tightly onto the word of YHVH.

Now I'm on a journey to seek truth, Love God and to serve others with my gifts and passions in the name of Yeshua.
