When the World Sleeps

Psalms 134:2 (KJV)
Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.

This particular Psalm is addressed specifically to those whose ministry was the worship of the Lord in the night watches. Barnes says of this passage, “There is something favorable to devotion in the silence of the night; when the world sleeps; when we are alone with God.”

We have services:
In the morning,
Past noon, and then
Two nights of the week.

We also hold our revival preaching meetings and special conference services at night.

There is something favorable when believers assemble while the rest of the world relaxes in fleshly rest.

The Sunday morning services are always a blessing.

Particularly blessed are those who are faithful to the scheduled evening services.

To my readers:
First of all, thank you! It is a great joy to me to know you read the thoughts and lessons God has given me in His word.
Secondly, I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to leave comments.
