‘Western laws now clash with moral nature of man’ – Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill

in christianity •  7 years ago  (edited)

In an exclusive interview with RT, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, shared his ideas on the difficult situations of Christians in the Middle East, the US presidential election, and European multiculturalism.

Too bad most people in the EU and US are trend slaves. Atheism is portrayed as being cool and intelligent while religion is simply dumb. The Christianity statistics in the EU are only by affiliation, the amount of actual practicing Christians is nearly zero. Christian holidays have become glutton fests with the remembrance of invented pagan mascots. It used to involve charity, fasting and remembering Jesus. Churches are desolate and riddled with spider webs. They have become tourist attractions.

I'm glad Russia has a wise man, Patriarch Kirill, as the head of the Orthodox Church. You are better off as a devout Christian than a clueless Atheist.
