What Better King Than The KING of Kings

HIS SOVEREIGNTY

Psalms 135:6 Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

God is supreme. He posses unlimited power and exercises dominion over all things.

HE is the Lord of heaven and the earth. HIS sovereignty extends over our lives and the inhabitants of the earth including Satan and demonic forces. That is why Colossians 1:6 says that: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

God deserves our worship, praise and adoration. He is worthy of all glory and honour.

2 Kings 17:20 And the LORD rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until he had cast them out of his sight.

GOD was angry with the children of Israel because they asked for a king when the LORD had been their king.They forgot how GOD hath saved them by an outstretched arm, they forgot HIS provisions in the wilderness and how HE had performed for them great signs and wonders that made other nations tremble before them.

Isaiah 45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me:

Thus, man ought to give reverence to God and obey HIM in other not to be cast out from HIS presence. For HE is supreme and HE deserves our worship and adoration.

HIS MERCY AND LOVE

Psalms 103:8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

David knew the importance of the sovereignty of GOD that is why he said he prefers to fall into the hands of GOD who tempers justice with mercy than fall into the hands of man. He knows that man can be so deceitful, claiming to love you when they don’t, they’d force and use you to gratify their own selfish desires without seeing to it that one becomes the best they can be.

1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Our GOD, HE is a king that doesn’t treat us according to our unrighteousness; HIS love for us is so genuine that none can be compared to it.

He provides, guides, uplifts, protects, heals, shields and perfect all that concerns HIS children.

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

And you can be rest assured that when you serve or work for GOD, HE will never leave you the same way HE met you. Shalom
