SALVATION IS OF THE LORD.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God"
• We are saved by Grace through Faith. When we heard the Gospel we believed it and we became brand new creations.
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,"
Act 15:11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they"
Act 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved"
• Recall the Gospel is the Only power UNTO Salvation. (ROM. 1:16).
We didn't get saved by works whether good or bad but by believing in Jesus Christ. Pls read properly the verses below, don't read with dyslexia or disappoint your English teacher.
2Ti 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,"
Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
• Many Christian though educated still don't know the difference between WORK FOR and WORK OUT your own salvation.
Phi 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
The verse says they are already beloved and that they already have their own salvation. But they should Work out. And work for it. To work for Salvation is anti- Christ, it opposes the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
A cup full of water, water can't be added into it. But water can be poured out of it. Simply saying conduct yourself as saved people in Sincerity.
Note verse 13.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure"
We work out with fear and trembling meaning we are sincere to know we can't work it out so we have a distrust in our abilities knowing that it is God who alone and work even the willingness to work out our own salvation. The Christian life is Christ living IN and THROUGH you.
• We are not justified (declared not guilty or made righteous) by works of the Law. But by Faith in Christ ONLY. Stop falling from Grace trying to be justified by the Law (Gal. 5:4).
Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."
The Man who believes the Gospel is the man who is Saved and is still the same man that is justified.
Hallelujah. No saviour and Salvation like Jesus. He alone is my Salvation and my Savior. Thank you Jesus for saving me from Sin, death and hell. Now I have passed from death unto Life.
