This morning wouldn't have been complete without this amazing hymn!!!! You sure will like it too.

And so I woke this morning and this hymn got me busy: singing and meditating. See below for a short exposition and then the lyrics.

This Hymn seeks to remind man to keep a lowly profile in the sight of the Lord.
It acknowledges Christ as the perfect sacrifice for all that we do as humans.
In stanza 3 there is so much Love in a sacrifice that even in the midst of sorrow, there is love. Even in the form of thorns, a Rich Crown is made.
For such unimaginable love, stanza 4 suggests that all we give in exchange is our Soul, our Life, our All.
These were given to us, freely, and so what actually hinders our giving them back to the Lord for such love untold, such love unheard of???

From this day forward, let us all endeavor to submit our all to the feet of the Lord, and we shall by no chance be let down.

   On which the Prince of Glory died,
   My richest gain I count but loss,
   And pour contempt on all my pride.

2. Forbid it. Lord, that I should boast,
   Save in the death of Christ, my God:
