I hope everyone has been enjoying this festive season (if they celebrate anything)!
I wanted to share some of the gifts I was given for Christmas this year 😊.
I used Canva to edit the images used in this post because I wanted it to have a cohesive style.
I got given this really cool "How to draw Manga" book, which also came with markers people use for this kind of art. I've been really wanting this sort of art supply for a while, and I have wanted to practice this manga art style- as my art is quite different from that style!
The Manga set comes with:
- 1 black fine liner pen
- 6 double-ended coloring markers
- 32 page sketchbook (wow)!
- 48 page instruction / project book.
So much in one! I'm so excited to use that sketchbook. 😁
Like many other people, I recently watched "Wicked" Part 1 (the movie) in the cinemas and I am OBSESSED. I loved it so much and I'm really looking forward to watching it again whenever a digital home release is available.
I really like music and musicals, and I also really liked the colors and overall atmosphere of the Wicked world we were shown- pink and green being the two core colors of the story, so I was given some pink and green nail polishes, both from the official O.P.I and Wicked collaboration.
I did my best to include a photo of my nails with the colors on them, but my hands are quite shaky so it wasn't the most tidy application lol.
I will say the quality of these nail polishes are really good, as they're so beautiful and vibrant, they also dry fast! My only issue is that they seem to chip and peel off easily- otherwise they are great!
Here is a coffee mug I was given, I love collecting mugs, especially ones with cozy minimal designs like this!
This mug has thicker walls to the body which I am a big fan of, it makes it easier to hold hot drinks as I'm less likely to completely burn my hand haha.
To accompany the mug, I was also given a sachet of my favorite hot chocolate! I've had these sachets before when staying at hotels, I haven't seen the sachets outside of hotels before- usually just a whole tub.
All in all I'm so grateful for my gifts! I'm really excited to use them! 🥰

They really do! They definitely taste more chocolatey/richer than most hot chocolates I've tried haha.
