This is one of the oldest structures in the Philippines. The parish church of Saint Mary Magdalene. Built around 1700, it witnessed numerous events in history.

Situated in Kawit, Cavite and just a few blocks away from Aguinaldo Shrine, it houses artifacts of which this municipality is known with - Emilio Aguinaldo. This was were the first president of the Philippines got baptized. This is also the church where they filmed the scene of Aguinaldo's wedding with Agoncillo for a movie even when they got married in Barasoain Church in real life.

With the touch of history and well preserved interiors, it was declared as historical structure by National Historical Commission in 1990. Its beauty has every bride wishing to have their weddings at this church.
Teaser for a post I may be writing about on the 29th. This was taken during our wedding day while photo people were waiting for us to arrive.
I have been blessed with a husband who granted me the same wish. On the 29th of this month, I will mark the 8th year of when I walked down the very long aisle of this majestic place to meet my love at the altar and start our wonderful life together.
