Today I stumbled upon a rubber plantation here at mama's place, the village. I came upon this plantation as I was taking a stroll this afternoon. I have been home all day just lazying about and eating so I decided to stretch my legs a bit.
So I was walking down this bush path when I noticed that I was surrounded by really tall trees. I became curious as to why only this specie of trees were growing around this area. I stopped following the bush path and went into the bush in search of answers.
After coming close to the trees, I realized these trees were producing white saps that looked like milk. I reached out to touch the milky sap. It was not sticky at first but became sticky as glue a few minutes later.
This is rubber. I'm in a rubber plantation! Yay!
I was excited because I had only read about rubber plantations from textbooks when I was in primary school. I feel very lucky to finally see a rubber plantation live.
Visiting mama wasn't a bad idea after all.
Below are pictures from the rubber plantation
Don't mind the look...🙈That's what happens when you stay home all day
