Greetings Steemit Community! We're currently waiting for the time of Noche Buena and I'm too excited for the moment of unwrapping gifts and see their expression of appreciation for the presents they have received.

Gift giving is already a tradition of every family. Giving to others practically means of sharing our blessings to them or to bless them as what we have been blessed.

Different people, different tradition

Whatever traditions you have this festive season, giving gifts cannot be missed.

Gift Giving Beliefs and Ideas

Different place from different countries have different beliefs. Some presents are left in different places. Some used to hide the present quietly under the pillow. Some used to hang stocking or socks (often near at the firplace) and some just put the presents under the christmas tree.

Also, there is an another idea of giving gifts. It is where you have to pick up a piece of paper with a name written on it which rolled by someone inside a container and after it, you have to keep quiet whom you have picked (called a Manito/Manita) then you buy a present for that person.

He/she will just know where it came from if its already the time of your party (often they have no idea which person in the group bought it for them.

In our own way of giving gifts, we prefer to give everyone or the family members to receive presents from the elders who can already affort to give and it's up to us whom do we want to give the present.

For the young ages, they make handmade cards or any handicrafts to give for their parents. It's just like a thank you and a greeting card. In this way, they will know how to make someone happy in their own simple way at just very young age.

I'm so excited to unwrap the gifts later.
