Christmas Gift Maracas...

in christmas •  7 years ago

While strange gifts are not at all uncommon at the workplace, something such as the Maracas seems highly out of place. Half of the people may not even know the use of Maracas. These are native instruments used in pairs. They are basically percussion instruments made out of a dried gourd shell or calabash and filled with dried seeds or beans.

They are shaken to produce sound and now come in leather, plastic, and wood. While this is not as bizarre a gift, the interests or the characteristics of the receiver should be kept in mind before such gifts are randomly distributed.
