Photography or a image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life but I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be an art-form. The beauty and meaning of photograph can be expressed and shared in many ways including "by not using any words".

While I do like photography I used to share images when I could that I captured day to day events, the feedback was mostly positive and I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos.

Almost every picture as a story to tell, or at least that is what I have often been told by some of my regular followers when I first started sharing photos on here.
To those who have often said and expressed that to me I would have to agree with them.

Can't believe it's already December 11th, the weather this morning was very gloomy but it wasn't the weather or my alarm that woke me up in the morning getting me out of bed earlier then I wanted.
No it was instead a phone call from my father who after many times saying he was coming to visit was this time visiting for real.
Kind of annoyed that there wasn't much warning as he arrives tomorrow, guess this is he's way of making it a surprise visit which I was ill prepared for.

I went to sleep a little earlier last night most of the week hasn't been completely bad as there were at least 2 nights I went to sleep early. Mostly because of the continued long work hours and early morning shifts, still of course at the end of the day I know it's my fault for not going to sleep earlier.

I didn't have work today "thank goodness" because of the news of my father arriving, I had to instead get prepared.
Initially the plan was to meet with friends later but I had to tell them this morning about the news of my father arriving and that I had to cancel on them.
Their response was initially not great from them but I guess they quickly realised they were being extremely selfish and offered to help with anything if I needed it.

Soon as I was done with informing them I spent most of the day getting everything ready for my fathers arrival as I wouldn't have time at any other point to get things done.

I think I managed most of what I wanted but haven't finished yet, there had been many reports from the so called weather experts saying to expect a white Christmas this year but honestly I'm sick of hearing about that.
This is because they say this every year without fail.. it's not that I care much if it snows or not during Christmas it's just the reporters like putting it out there just in-case it does happen.
Only so later they can tell us just how amazingly accurate they are.. That's not how it works and I have lost count of how many times already they have said recently it would snow.
It's been been said since the end of August and even today but would you believe it, finally it's actually snowing, guess at one point they had to be right.

Should of said this from the start but since my father will be visiting I probably won't be around that much, so expect some day's to have a post missing and delays on winners.

Anyway as for the picture today I share one of a Tinkerbell ornament found at a shop. I don't usually associate the Tinkerbell character with Christmas but admit I was surprised by the quality and Christmas take on this ornament. I remember that Tinkerbells character at one point became wildly popular having her own movie with I believe also other fairy characters. I think I was shopping with my friends on this particular outing and it's honestly reminded me that this year we haven't gone down together to this particular mall. I now wonder if there may still be time between now my father being here and Christmas to still visit the shops and see what Christmas things they have on display.
