There is a trend that’s been with us for the last few years of big and burly beards. (Personally I’m a yuge fan!) here is a pic of me with and without one. 
The picture on the right was taken the day after the one on the left and it is pretty obvious by the look on my face how I felt. It was fairly emasculating to say the least.
That’s in the past... I’m getting upset thinking about it. I have now grew out another beard, which I am quite proud of. Here are a few pictures from the past summer.
The newest trend to hit the bearded community is Christmas decorating your beard 🤢. I am not a fan. As a self described “alpha” I disagree with any decorating of the face as a man. A BAMF beard is all the accessories a man’s face needs and done right will make all of your wildest dreams come true! I am also in the cross section of beardsmen that say the cliche “if you have a beard but cannot change a tire you need to shave”.

Finally, I have a picture of me with a decorative beard (taken via Snapchat filter). I am pleased with the look of simplicity and the way it highlights my modest mustache.
