Merry Christmas - Or is it?

The fireplace is burning bright, shining along me
I see the presents underneath the good old Christmas tree
And I wait all night 'til Santa comes to wake me from my dreams
Oh, why? 'Cause that's Christmas to me

It's Christmas day everyone, and while everyone around me is excited, it just don't feel like Christmas time to me.

And let me tell you why:

1. Bittrex Troubles

My Christmas squirrel fund that I've been saving up for me to enjoy the Christmas period is stuck on bittrex. It really put the dent on my Christmas plans. But as they say, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Instead of obsessing over it, I invested in some alt coins, and right now, I'm considerably richer.

2. Fuel Scarcity

Have you ever been to Nigeria.
You go hear Wen.

This is a popular saying in my country, where Wen is a slang for hardship. There has been fuel scarcity for the past week which has put a dampen on movement around town. So right now, I have three parties to go to, but I cannot leave my house.

My Resolve

I have resolved to make this Christmas worthwhile for me, anyway I can. And for me, that means lots of food and films. Which I've already started ticking off one after the other.

And even though my Christmas wasn't what I was expecting it to be, I wish everyone out there a very Merry Christmas.
