Hello Steemians and Cabalens,
Christmas is fast approaching and I still have a lot of preparation to do. Being a creative person I love creating and sending greeting cards to my friends and family. I was not able to do this last year because I did not have the time. This year I have to make sure that I make a few greeting cards no matter what. Today is the start of that plan. Here is the work in progress card that I had made so far.
We do not have that famous kind of deers in the Philippines so I am using a native pig in their place. I remember we used to have a pet pig with this color I used here. Fond memories of my childhood.
This pig is ready to sing Christmas carols on the streets. He is looking for his friends to accompany him. He is carrying a lamp which is made from an empty glass bottle then filled with kerosene and a wick to light it up. I remember back in the days we use this kerosene lamp when we go caroling as a child.
Here you see the initial design that I made using MS Paint on my computer. On the coming days I know I will be able to finish the greeting card and will share it with you.
