Growing up the holidays where something to look forward too. Christmas was my favorite one. Everyone in the world for one day where happy it seemed to me. Even if your life was crummy, this day at least made you happy.
The Christmas tree, presents, the holiday music and good cheer were great. Now I feel like we are so rushed by the media, they are always rushing holiday sales before the holdiays and after.
Now, with just my brother and 2 sisters around and they are into their own life, we really don't get together like when we where growing up.
I tend to get sad thinking how it use to be and how much fun it was.
