My name is Inyang john.
We are four boys,i dont have a sister,at some point i did not enjoy it but i got use to my brothers and am cool with that now.
My younger brother is someone i have come to love.
All my life,i have watched him grow into a powerful man.
one thing i like about him is his humility and his i can do mentality.
His humility is what humbles me.
I can vividly remember while growing up together,he will always come to me to tell me his challenges.
This is a young man who i have seen attain alot of academic feats but he was so calm about it.
I motivated him to be great,every examination i wrote that he came to write,with his i can do mentality,he did more and i loved that spirit in him.
During his high school,when he was in SS1,he was so sick that he did not come back on time,at some point,my dad told him to forget about school so he can get better but he did not give up.
After some time,he came back to school and classes have gone far.
I helped him to gather his class notes from his mates.
I saw fire and determination in his eyes,i saw that i can do mentality in his eyes too.
I was worried about him but he kept on telling me not to worry that he will make us proud.
To be sincere with you,after the terms exams,he came first position in that law class.
This is a class that had 100 students who started so early but could not top the class but someone who came late,did very well and his form teacher gave him a gift.
When i asked him how he did it,he said he has this mentality,"THE I CAN DO MENTALITY"
according to him,he said when you have that mentality,everything will be possible.
He said with humility and that mentality,he was able to come top.
Ever then,i have liked his philosophy and i respect him for that.
I can vividly remember when i smashed my dad's car and i was worried about how my dad was going to come back from work to scold me,he came to me and said brother worry no more,i will handle it myself and i was asking him how he will.
When my dad came back and saw the back of the car smashed,he was very angry but my younger brother who was the most loved stood up and told my dad he was the person that smashed the car and that he was sorry.
Wow! I was like what did you just do,i was scared and at the same time,i was relieved of the scolding i would have gotten.
Bro,you did this for me and i love you so much.
It happened on 12th August,2007.
With you,i learnt to be humble and to believe that everything was possible if i believe in myself.
