This is the first time me trying this brand. It has a nice mahogany color to it with a slight but deep oak smell. The cold draw was surprisingly mild compared to robust type of cigars.
Lighting it was very easy due to the humidor setting being at 70 % humidity. I may store it in my 75% humidor to get it just a little more humidity within it to be less dry.
The first quarter of smoking this stick was dry to taste that was not as I expected for the type. It was earthy on the mild side. Note to myself is to age it for at least a year to season it.
The middle on through to the end was a little more pleasurable as far as taste goes with a smoothness teamed with a lager beer. The ash hang fell off at about 3 inches but that was expected, I will age it alot longer than a month as I did.
I will buy more to add to my collection of cigars to get a better analysis of this brand that I would say I will try again. I will team it next time with a whiskey that I think will be more pleasing.
My Father makes some good smokes. Check out the Flor De Las Antilles by them which was previously #1 cigar of the year by Cigar Aficionado magazine.

Thanks, I will do that. Be sure to check in every Sunday for a review of a different cigar.
