For those of you who don't know I moved into a weekly rate motel back in June of 2017. I had some ups and downs since Sept. 2016, which I will get into at a later date. However, come June I couldn't take it anymore and while my roommate (who trust me was not a good person) was at work, I in the pouring rain and a thunder storms put all my belongs into my old car and left.
It was the best choice looking back on it. However, it took sometime to get my own head screwed back on right. Being a very heavy smoker for over 25 years I switched to electronic cigarettes Oct. 30th 2017. I am now in the process of trying to get myself off the electronics.
Two days ago I quit drinking after tapering down and tomorrow will be my first day without coffee as well.
I very much want to be substance free in all areas of my life and work on my health, both physical and mental. While I am fine with what others choose to do with their own bodies and support their own choices it is just something I really want for myself.
At times it feels like a painfully long process. I just want to be done and over it all and on the other side of all this mess that I have created over the years, but I know that is not rational. It took me time to get myself into this mess and there is no climbing out overnight.
