So, this blogging thing is quite new to me... I thought I would start with a little bit of information about me and my interest in cigars.

How it all started -
In May 2016 I was a groom at an equestrian yard. My main passion is horses, I have 4 of the four legged beauties. I was starting to wonder whether I would prefer a nice office job. Out of the elements in the winter and really engaging my brain in some work. I made myself a new CV and starting the long lonely road of job searching.
Not long after starting my job search I found a nice little business admin roll at a place called C.Gars, which happened to be just five minutes up the road from where I live!
Totally oblivious to what C.Gars was I had a look online. After finding out they were the UK's leading cigar specialist I decided to send my CV in, after previous office jobs this seemed like an interesting market to be in. Beats the oil and gas industry any day!
Within an hour of my CV being sent I received an email to ask if I would be able to come in the next day for a trial. Couldnt believe my luck. The next day I drove into the small industrial estate in Rollesby to find C.Gars/Turmeaus Tobacconist.
After that day, I never left! The very next day I started properly.

As I had never been a smoker, cigars were a totally new thing for me. I remember the first time I took a step into the walk-in humidor. I was blown away with the smells and the unique differences in each stick. It fed me with a passion of wanting to learn more about them.

A year and a half later I have managed to go through the rankings to become a proud 'Social Media Manager' for C.Gars Ltd. My passion for all things cigars and liquor has sky rocketed. I love cigar and whisky world.
Its stylish, passionate and somewhat relaxing.
