Released at IPCPR in 2015, this ultra dark cigar bearing the name The Dark in Latin, is something completely different from their main lines. Using a mix of Dominican fillers and a Mexican San Andres binder, the La Nox is then rolled in a special, ultra dark and oily Brazilian maduro wrapper. The result is a taste that is completely unique to the industry.
The flavor notes provide a lot of cedar, some mild cocoa. A little spice on retro, but strong tobacco as well. I know there is other stuff going on but unable to discern at the moment, probably due to some mild allergies affecting my palet. Flawless draw and construction. A solid B+ at the price of $7.50
