This is a travelogue recorded a few years ago
I plan to move some notes here
as a permanent reminder
...
Every place I've been
Every meeting and encounter
Every memory that comes to mind
To record what we think
Record it down
This is simple
And meaningful
Life

Wuzhen is located in Tongxiang, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, in the "Golden Triangle" of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, and is part of the Taihu Basin water system, with rivers running through it and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal running through it, 106 kilometres from Shanghai. It is one of the first batches of Chinese historical and cultural towns and is known as "China's Last Pillowed Home" and "the home of fish and rice and the capital of silk".
Liu Buying once wrote on Weibo, "Back to Wuzhen, yes I'm back, long time no see ......", when Wuzhen scenic spot first invited Liu Buying to be its brand image spokesperson. In the new promotional video, the familiar and renewed scenery of Wuzhen, Liu Ruying's fresh and serene look and warm and determined eyes evoke many memories of the past and spark endless reveries and expectations...
The memories, the misses, the longings and the emotions brought me to this beautiful old town for the second time. Some people say that only the intellectual "milk tea" can interpret the dense Jiangnan, Moxie's "once upon a time", the Grand Theatre's "modern", and the "drama" of life. Some people say that it has been ten years since I finally waited for the milk tea; some say that every time I come to Wuzhen, I feel different, like a folding opera.
Wuzhen tourism has been in existence for 19 years. 10 years ago, the Xijie scenic spot was opened for business amidst controversy and milk tea was found to endorse it. Ten years on, what has changed is our story, what remains the same is that Wuzhen is still in the heart!
Ten years of reunion, "heart" Wuzhen, that the promise of beauty as at the beginning, just like a homecoming child. In my perception, Wuzhen is a very relaxed and intimate place. In the film, Liu Ruying coincidentally meets the grandmother she befriended 15 years ago during the filming of "Déjà vu", and for me, I appreciated those déjà vu memories from three years ago...the B&B sentiment, the bookish lamb, Wu's mother's wontons, the oil dumplings, the Luo Bashi cakes...and many, many more...
I saw you again, still familiar and peaceful, but with a different touch. It's like you've changed, you've become more understanding and more reassuring." As Liu Ruying says, Wuzhen is constantly changing, perhaps becoming more commercialised, perhaps with more modern elements, but it has never left its essence. The local specialities that people love to eat: stinky tofu, beans, bamboo shoots, and oil dumplings have not changed.
Let's talk about the five reasons why I like Wuzhen.
1, Wuzhen Xijie scenic area of the B&B is in the local old mansions based on the reconstruction, very characteristic, outdoor and indoor restore the scene of life at the time, at this time the city's bustle left behind, quiet and leisurely filled the whole mind, on the holiday should feel.
2、Walk around every street in Wuzhen to find more beautiful scenery, especially recommended to get up in the morning to see the morning scenery, that a quiet, that a ray of morning light, you will certainly meet unexpected harvest.
- The greenery and bonsai in Wuzhen's Xijie scenic area are also worth a look. In their reflections, to make the ancient town extraordinary mood.
4、 The blue-flowered printed cloth of that big dyeing workshop, the sauces of Xuchang, the characteristic wu-top boats and the spectacular schools of fish in the river are all unique scenes that cannot be seen in other ancient towns.
5, Wuzhen's most beautiful night scene is placed in the finale, the most not to be missed beauty, the lights of the buildings and reflections in the river complement each other beautifully.
