Today I decided to tell you about the capital of Ingushetia is a fairly young city with a beautiful name Magas. Last time I was there in early 2010, and over the years, judging by the photos I found on the Internet, it has become even more beautiful.
Not to say that a large city with developed infrastructure, but if you compare it with other cities of the Republic, he seems more comfortable and attractive.
In Magas at the time, I spent about a week being on business trips. We came in the morning and left late afternoon. The townspeople were more open than inhabitants of other settlements of the Republic. In other towns greeted us warily, and Magas were greeted with joy.

The city is clean, I have never seen trash thrown on the asphalt. People are modest, laconic for the most part, and only children are the same as everywhere, curious and asking a lot of questions. They wondered: why am I wearing pants and not wearing a headscarf, why do I have blonde hair and we do have them in the city. Was surprised that they came to "tourists", so we are called.

A little surprised the first time that we filmed. Apparently, guests from other republics in those years were for residents something out of the ordinary, the news that they wanted to share with friends and family.

Magas - the youngest administrative center of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation. Translated Magas with the Ingush as "the City of the sun". By the way, was called once the capital of ancient Alania Republic.

To build a city began on 23 February 1994 regarding the location, Magas is located half a kilometer from the border with the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, closest to the city of Nazran, located four kilometers from it.

In the middle bronze age in the territory, which is the current capital of Ingushetia, located in the North-Caucasian cultural-historical community. For the first three years of the construction workers found thirteen mounds, three partially destroyed villages and over forty individual burials.

A little later, in 2001, close to one of the buildings of the yoke, were found the burial ground roughly Sarmatian time (the 4th century BC - 3rd century BC) First urban object that was opened, it became the Presidential Palace. Alas, when I was in Magas last time, there was not yet a Tower of Consent. It has already appeared in 2013 in the center of the city and today is one of the local attractions. Externally, the tower resembles a traditional Ingush tower.
