This bridge separates Asaba in Delta State from Onitsha in Anambra state. I particularly too this photo for some reasons
I love travelling and adventures plus my flair for Geoscience portrayed an obvious choice to my interest and perhaps hobby
This bridge called "Niger Bridge" adapted from River Niger is historic in Nigeria and very pertinent in the economic activities that strives or occurs on the Niger.
The name "Nigeria" has an origin from this river (Niger Area= Nigeria).
As beneficial as the River Niger could be to the economy of Nigeria sadly, flooding has been reported to have swept off plains around the river. Geographically, Folks are warned not to inhabit around such areas. Yet, lots of people pay deaf ears to these warnings.
Urban sprawl has been witnessed around places proximal to the bridge.
The pressure on the bridge is sickening and might pose a danger if not looked into deeply.
