Here are a couple photos I took while flying my DJI Phantom 3 drone in San Francisco California. I get a lot of wireless interference when I try to fly in this area, so my flights tend to be short lived. This was a pretty early flight so the sun was still hitting at a low angle. It's hard to notice, but these photos would not look as good if I took them mid-day.

I also took some video footage during the take off. I purchased my drone for the purpose of taking still photos, as I have no experience taking videos and didn’t even think much about it. I have since realized however that there is no reason not to at least record take off and landings.

Love the rolling fog you captured. Awesome images. Did you see any other drones out?

Thank you, The fog is one my favorite features of this city. Also I do believe there was a guy flying a mavic nearby thay day.

Hope there wasn't any near misses! By the way, have you heard about the new drone regulations in Canada? https://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/civilaviation/opssvs/proposed-rules-drones-canada.html

Those rules dont seem all that unreasonable. Thankfully the mavic pro can do just about anything you need it to do and it weighs under 1kg. I plan on switching to a Mavic soon for many reasons including portability.

I may venture into the world of drone photography soon. Offer it in my portfolio of photography maybe. I'll need some good tips from you maybe! Thanks for the information. I'll look into the Mavic

I highly recommend it, it is a lot of fun and has gotten to the point where I now feel very restricted trying to shoot photos from the ground!

Wow! Beautiful!

The drone seems to have a high quality camera
Good pictures dude
Its fun to capture the moments
