Skiathos is a small Greek island in the Aegean Sea. It is only 12 kilometers long and 6 kilometers wide on average. Compared to the other Greek islands, there are not so many historical monuments, that's why tourists seek first and foremost those interested in bathing. There are over 60, mostly sandy beaches on the 44-kilometer coastline. One of the scenes of "Mamma mia" was filmed here.
I visited this small town last Thursday, travelling by bus and the Elisabet cruise ship, and took many photos there. Here is a selection:

wow, that is a beautiful and very small island! I have never been to Greece but now it's definitely on my bucket list!
It should be great there to sail as I can see on your photos :-)

Thanks for your reply! Sailing around these small islands is the best thing i ever experienced! The water is crystal-clear everywhere, and there are dolphins, too! I was so fortunate to see them for some seconds, but i couldn't take photos.

I remember my minister went to Greece to visit the ruins there. They ordered the best food in Greece and they were served with Mutton and cheese with a very strong taste. I don't know if they were able to eat it.

Food in Greece is really excellent. Tomatoes and other veggies are very cheap and delicious, and i had the opportunity to cook almost every day, so i saved a lot of money.
