I hate football hooligans

I really cannot understand football hooliganism...

  • it is OK that you are a loyal fan,
  • it is OK to be happy or sad about the results that your favourite team reached,
  • it is OK to shout slogans to cheer up and encourage your favourite team...

All of these are perfectly fine with me!

BUT

  • Why do you have to be aggressive that an army of special policemen is needed to control you?
  • Why do you have to spoil the peaceful entertainment of others?
  • Why do you have to behave like a barbarian animal herd?
  • Why do you have to break and destroy everything around you and leave such a mess after you?

Is it manly? Is it brave? NO! It is not!

    And this is why I have no interest in paying for a ticket to attend sporting events. Terms like "hooligan", "barbarian", and even the derogatory medical acronym SHPOS are in my opinion, being way too generous to fans who choose to behave in such a despicable manner.

    Humanity seems to have plenty of experience with sports hooliganism though, as apparently that dates back to at least the 6th century AD and chariot racing. Looks like humanity hasn't progressed too much in about 1500 years...

      I totally agree with you @doughtaker... These are not humans, and it is sad that for such a long time now - we, OTHERS (the supposedly normal crowd), cannot do anything about it.
