Medan City is the capital of North Sumatra province, Indonesia. The city is the third largest city in Indonesia after Jakarta and Surabaya, as well as the largest city outside of Java Island. Medan is the gateway to the western part of Indonesia with the presence of the Port and Kuala Namu International Airport.

Bordering the Strait of Malacca makes Medan a very important city of commerce, industry and business in Indonesia. In terms of city panorama, Medan has a number of high-rise buildings and hundreds of apartments, so this city deserves the title as one of the best in Indonesia. Medan city has a pretty good zoning between the business center with the settlement, so it does not mix.

The city of Medan is a city inhabited by various ethnic groups and diverse cultures in it, covering Batak, Malay, Javanese, Mandailing, Karo, Aceh, and Tionghoa. The diversity of tribes and cultures in the city of Medan is very influential in the development of tourism, and this sector is also a bit of an important part in the development of the city's progress.
