I photographed this photo from the high-rise of Medan City, The Big City of Sumatra, and this photo is the #cityscapephotography contest by @juliank.
The city of Medan is the capital city of North Sumatra province which became the third largest city in Indonesia after the City of Jakarta and the City of Surabaya and Medan as the largest city outside Java.
PostinganThe Medan area is also the gateway of western Indonesia with the location of Belawan Port and the existence of Kuala Namu International Airport which is also the second largest airport area in Indonesian.
While access from downtown Medan to Belawan port and Kuala Namu International airport is facilitated by toll roads and rail transport adjacent to the waters of the Malacca Strait in Aceh, making Medan the largest trading, industrial and business area.
