Crossroads of two poets. Omsk.

in cityscapephotography •  7 years ago

Crossroads of "two poets" - this is the popular name of the intersection of two old streets of the city of Omsk. These are the streets of Mayakovsky and Pushkin (the former Forge and Factory).

The photo shows the building in 1953. At the corner of the house is a round emblem of the railway troops.

For 35 years the place almost did not change, except that the greenery on the street. Pushkin became smaller.

A photo from the archive of the Museum of Omsk Railwaymen, 1983.
