in this video we're taking a look at the
price of clams on Poloniex
we can see that way back
in 2016 clams made a fantastic high and
then they broke and dropped very
suddenly all the way through 2016
if we
zoom into March in April of 2016 we see
prices were on a downtrend till about
March April May of 2017 we're like most
of the crypto currencies clam coin made
fantastic gains and more than doubled or
tripled in price here
then through 2017
prices came down 2018 prices have been
pretty flat compared to historical
prices and as we zoom into the three
month view on this market we can see
that like many of the crypto currencies
we see capitulation lows here on the
11th 12th 13th of August and then higher
prices since then pretty much matching
what bitcoin has been doing recently
so we see a moving average cross over here
on the 4-hour bar on the 12-hour bars
we're actually seeing the moving average
crossover which is my trading signal
this 1 2 3 bottom formation and then the
moving average crossover is an entry
point to consider
we zoom into the one
month view we can see that the bottom
formation occurred in the moving average
crossed over earlier and prices have
been surging up since then
however we're also seeing prices
stalling at this historical level and it
may be that prices will come back and
retest some of these levels before
charge to a higher level
so it's not quite a
buy signal in my trading pattern now at
this moment but because of the old
historical prices this has been able to
achieve it is still an interesting
market to be watching closely
