Clarity Hack 1. Caffeine (Coffee)

Step one in the clarity hack will be giving up coffee. This is a touchy subject for some (probably as they are addicted) as there is a lot of press out there about how coffee is good for you. its always nice to hear the things you love are good for you but i suspect the benefits are pretty small compared to drinking something else.

The caffeine only boosts your clarity if you don't normally drink it. My understanding is that If you are a regular drinker of coffee, your "normal" is set a lot lower as your brain compensates for the boost from the caffeine fairly quickly, leaving you just cloudy in the head until you drink coffee. If I can get back to "normal" without the coffee, perhaps I will be able to think a bit more clearly.

I have tried this before, reducing caffeine by switching to black tea then to green tea. I have felt better and more able to think clearly, more relaxed - all good. for some reason, something creeps back in and i end up drink more and more coffee until i get to where i am now - drinking about 8-10 shots of espresso a day. My favourite way to drink coffee is as espresso with a dash of water or milk. i will try and ween myself off it with the same method as before otherwise the headaches are just miserable...
