Perhaps it in politicians' blood to deflect pointed questions, but when they can't even use logic, it bothers me a bit.
The interviewer here, admittedly, does not share Bernie's grand socialist vision of the future, but his question is simple. Is it possible for one person to delegate a "right" -- that (s)he does not have -- to another person or body of people? Can one delegate that which (s)he does not own? The philosophical implications are relevant, of course, but I find it vital to use simple logic before embracing or discarding any belief system, whether political or not. What do you think?
