Hello steemians !
Calling a professional to clean you're air-Con gonna cost you some great amount of money,
But today I will teach you how to clean it by yourself.
What do you need is , 3 thing.
**1- Water pressure pump,
2- ladder
3- water dumper **
Easy right ?? 😂😂😂😂
First of all , what you need to do.
Turn off your air-Con and pull the plug out.
So you won't get electric shock and turn to THE FLASH jk jk 😁😁
Then
Take the cover out
As you see above in the photo, there 3 screws over there.
Open them up, different brand different places they put the screw so you have to find them. Once they open , clean the filter .
And you're this the most important part you don't want to messed with.
Indoor blower
Cover the electric/PC BOARD area with small cloth/towel, while you washing it please be extra careful don't spray at PC board area , adjust you're water pressure pump to spreading pattern ,don't use straight pattern they will damage you're coil. If you notice there something I use to catch the water. You have to use that if you did not , be ready to have Pool party in you're house XD !
You can #DIY this thing using thick plastic.but I'm using zink material its long lasting than plastic.
Here how I wash it.
How to wash the outdoor unit ?
Just wash it all around the coil , you don't have to cover anything. Wash it from the back where the coil more visible clean.
If you wanted to make your indoor unit coil look like brand new I'm suggesting a chemical called ALKALINE COIL CLEANER.
how to use it , pour 40ML Of alkaline chemical into spraying bottle and mix 10-15 ML of water.
First step - clean your coil with water thoroughly ,and then spray alkaline chemical all around you're coil leave it for 5-10 minutes.
Final step wash them thoroughly once again. Make sure there no more chemical left.
COUTIONS !!! WEAR MASK AND SAFETY GLASSES IF YOU USING THIS CHEMICAL!!
And look at the dirt ,
What a satisfactions right !! Now you have clean and chill air cons once again.
